Our web design and development firm took a strategic and thoughtful approach to create a dynamic, user-friendly website for the African American Chamber of Commerce. Understanding the Chamber’s mission to empower and connect its members, we designed a sleek, modern interface that not only reflects the organization’s brand but also offers an intuitive experience for visitors. Every design element was carefully crafted to ensure accessibility, easy navigation, and mobile responsiveness, making the site a powerful tool for both current and prospective members.
Functionality was a top priority. The website features a robust eCommerce platform that allows users to seamlessly sign up for memberships, register for events, and make secure online payments. This integrated system streamlines the Chamber’s operations, reducing manual processes and enhancing the overall user experience. Clear calls to action and simple checkout flows were implemented to encourage participation and engagement with the Chamber’s offerings.
We also built a comprehensive member directory that showcases the businesses and individuals within the Chamber’s network. This directory includes search and filter options, allowing users to easily find and connect with fellow members. Each profile provides essential business information, supporting collaboration and fostering new business relationships.
To support the Chamber’s focus on education and growth, we developed an educational webinars section where users can access a library of past webinars or register for upcoming ones. Additionally, we incorporated secure, members-only content pages—providing exclusive resources, insights, and opportunities for those within the Chamber’s community. This feature adds value to membership by offering content tailored specifically for their growth and success.
Lastly, the website includes event sign-ups and payment functionalities. Whether for networking events, workshops, or fundraisers, users can easily view event details, register, and complete their payments—all in one place. Here’s our 12-step web design process we use to develop your website:
1. We review expectations
Perhaps you’ll want a Content Management System (CMS) that allows you to make your own updates to the site once it’s complete, or you may decide you don’t have the staff to update yourself. We’ll discuss the functions you want – inclusions such as search, newsrooms, video players, chat, surveys, and feedback forms.
2. We’ll give you a written quote…
That covers all of your web components. Our quotes are provided to you in a menu style. Everything we do will be listed in separate categories with the related pricing. Basic sections of your website design might include planning, home page design, writing, photography, programming, interior web page design, and hosting among others.
3. We’ll create a schedule
For public release of your site – and we’ll stick to the deadline!
